Driver Risk Management located in Perth, Western Australia, operates from a unique, purpose-built driver training facility near the Perth International Airport, at 16 Grogan Road, delivering a range of services to achieve ‘Safer Roads, Safer Vehicles, Safer Speeds, Safer Drivers’.

Established by a group of the driver training industry’s most experienced professionals including Alister McRae and Kim Ledger, Driver Risk Management Pty Ltd (DRM) embodies the team’s shared passion for safer driving whilst developing unique and innovative approaches to driver training and road safety solutions. Collectively the Founders and key operatives share more than 100 years combined experience across this high-risk, ever important industry.
Driver Risk Management is a Registered Training Organisation RTO 45699, operating from Australia’s only purpose-built driver training facility. The Driver Risk Management facility located near Perth International Airport at 16 Grogan Road, Western Australia, was constructed over 23 years ago by ‘Driver Training and Education Centre’ (DTEC), and later known as the ‘RAC Driving Centre’.
Driver Risk Management deliver a range of Nationally Recognised, Non-recognised Training and specialised Driver and Safety Training courses, including Operate Light Vehicle, Operate & Maintain 4WD Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Buses, Chain of Responsibility (COR), Recreational 4WD, Towing and Reversing and more.
Using the principals of Pro-Active Driving, Driver Risk Management’s Recognised and Non Recognised Training courses aligned to National Units of Competence, aim to enhance the capacity of drivers across the board and mitigate various risks in a driving environment.

KIM LEDGER – CHAIRMAN
Kim Ledger, known for being one of WA’s leading businessmen, has over 53 years of experience in business enterprise, including founding and developing companies and technologies within the Mining, Automotive and Auto Racing Industry. He has created and partnered many start-ups and bought and sold a number of enterprises throughout his years in business.
Kim is founding Patron of The Australians in Film ‘Heath Ledger Scholarship’ in LA and a Board Member of The National Film and Sound Archive and on both the Finance and Indigenous Connections Committees ( ICC )
ALISTER McRAE – MANAGING DIRECTOR
With a surname synonymous with the spectacular sport of rallying, Alister has been part of the motoring industry since 12 years old, winning numerous racing titles and accolades. His career in motorsports spans almost 40 year and his success has come from a blend of dedication, adaptability and supreme car control and fitness.
Alister has worked with numerous manufacturers and possesses unparalleled understanding of driving and intimate knowledge of the automotive industry.
MIA TAYLOR – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mia Taylor, General Manager of Registered Training Organisation ‘Driver Risk Management 45699’ since January 2021, holds a Bachelor of Commerce – double major in Business Law and International Relations from Curtin University in Western Australia.
Specialising in Training, Workforce Development and Employment Services, Mia’s ProActive Business Management approach will support Driver Risk Management’s current and future clientele, driving greater project opportunities and initiatives within the Transport and Logistics industry and more.

The purpose-built Driver Training facility operated by Driver Risk Management is available for Private/Individual, Group and Corporate Hire, suitable for a range of Driver Training, Safety Training and Motoring Event purposes.
Featuring a range of unique, on-site training facilities and capabilities, the Driver Risk Management centre can accommodate large groups for Events, Training, Manufacturer Training, Demo Days, Product Launches and more.
Previously known as the RAC Driving Centre, Driver Risk Management is conveniently located near Perth International Airport, 20 minutes from Perth CBD. Each area within the 312,000sq meters of private land provides flexibility and convenience for users to create a range of scenarios, in state-of-the-art driver training environments.
The various on-site facilities are available to hire by the hour, for half and full days, or week/s at a time consist of:

PERFORMANCE DRIVER TRAINING
Non-recognised Training
Whether you are an experienced driver, or new to Performance Driving, Performance Driver Training delivered by National and Internationally experienced Performance Driving Coaches, enhances the driver’s skill and ability, whilst learning in a safe and controlled environment.
Utilising the on-site driver training facilities at Driver Risk Management, Performance Driver Training is hands-on training, with one-on-one instruction from inside and outside of the vehicles, throughout the course of the day.
Experienced Coaches work closely with participants, to ensure drivers gain the maximum benefit from attending training, learn more about their vehicle and techniques of Performance Driving.

With this unique in-house capability, Driver Risk Management are able to develop specific simulations, tailored to the individual requirement of our clients.
Simulated driving experiences are proven to challenge even the most experienced drivers, whilst at the same time expose drivers to real life scenarios and the appropriate actions required to prevent incidents from occurring.
RaceKraft
RaceKraft Simulations cover all aspects of Racing Simulation and sell, hire, install Racing Simulation hardware and software. Operating within the Driver Risk Management facility, RaceKraft’s E-Sport and Entertainment Centre boasts 10 state-of-the-art Simulator’s which are available for private and/or corporate hire.
RaceKraft Simulations can build each system to their client’s individual need, designing and constructing the most appropriate machines for every purpose. This individualised service and permanent location is what sets RaceKraft apart from other National and International Sim manufacturers.
The simulation hardware is state-of-the-art and continuously evolving, consisting of the highest quality equipment and materials, to give users an exceptional experience from start to finish whether operating a Stage 2 or Stage 6 RaceKraft machine.
